Pair accused of driving unauthorized migrants told border agents they were taking nature photos
Two Americans accused of smuggling migrants found in the back of their car told border authorities they were traveling in the area to take photos of the scenery.
Jeremiah Earl Goins and Chelsea Naida Ruiz were arrested Saturday and charged with transporting unauthorized migrants, according to an amended criminal complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S.
District Court for the District of New Mexico.
